Great size and look, but not easy to collapse
This would be great for the beach, backyard, etc., as it's a great size and has a nice design, but it takes practice, practice, PRACTICE to collapse. Even then, it doesn't always work as easily as shown in the YouTube video, and is a real deterrent to using it. I wouldn't recommend.
Easy to use, great sun protection
And pretty to boot! I bought this as a gift for my sister and her two littles. She reports that it works very well, is a cinch to use, and I can vouch it looks great as a backdrop to family photos!
Great when it is open but a pain to fold up!
The directions included are totally useless and it took ten times watching the YouTube video to finally close it up properly. It will snap open so you really need 4 hands to do it ( I finally managed with 2 after multiple tries. I can't imagined trying to fold it upon a windy beach day with two toddlers in tow so I will only use it when I have other adults with me to keep an eye on them while I wrestle this beauty back into its case. Otherwise it is well made and very useful to block sun at the beach .
