GreenPan Venice Pro Nonstick Skillet

As others have said in their reviews, this works nicely at first, and perhaps that would last if one *only* used it for scrambled eggs. As a general nonstick pan, this stinks! The surface gets messed up within a few months. (And I tried to baby it.)

Folks, let me first say I love you all aT Food52, but please stop promoting this line of pans as non-stick. It just isn't. It's a beautiful looking skillet and nicely weighted at that. But it's non stick properties disappear after the first couple of uses. Additionally, the surface will brown with extended use – so in short order, and at considerable cost, it becomes just another pan, not great for eggs without spray, and not exceptional at anything else. You'd be much better off buying a cheap non-stick IKEA pan knowing that you'll get a year at most, which is a bit more than I can say about GreenPan Venice line. Food52, your recommendations are critical to my support, but this one has me wondering if you're helping or just selling.

Seriously though. Making my morning eggs is such a delight, and now cleanup is a snap! Very satisfied with this purchase.
